SUMMARY:Coping With Grief
DESCRIPTION:Coping With Grief will start its next group on Wednesday\, January 15th at 10:00 AM in the Prayer Room. The group will meet weekly for 10 weeks for 1 1/2 hours sessions and is limited to six participants. \n\n\n\nGrieving the loss of a loved one can be one of the most profound experiences individuals encounter in their lives. Others who have undergone a significant loss can understand well the depth of pain that grief brings. Sharing that experience in a group with others who are going through the same process could provide encouragement and hope for healing. \n\n\n\nCoping With Grief welcomes everyone. We lose loved ones\, friends\, and colleagues and with each confrontation we experience grief\, pain\, and confusion. We also come face to face with our own mortality. How\, as Christians\, do we deal with the physical\, emotional\, practical\, and spiritual realities of death and dying? \n\n\n\nJoin us to explore this important topic\, facilitated by Pastor Carol\, in five weekly sessions beginning Wednesday\, January 29th from 10:00-11:30 AM in the Sanctuary of our Oro Valley campus. Sessions include Aging & Dying in Our Culture\, Approaching Death in the Faith of Jesus Christ\, Family Conversations & Advanced Directives\, Palliative Care and Hospice\, Final Arrangements (funeral\, estate planning)\, Helping Adults\, Teens\, and Children Deal with Grief.
