Fall Worship Series: The Apostles’ Creed
Beginning in September at both campuses
Each fall, we take time through worship and teaching to revisit a core part of Luther’s Small Catechism—foundational pieces of our faith that shape how we live and what we believe. In recent years, we’ve explored the Ten Commandments and the Lord’s Prayer.
This year, we’ll turn to the Apostles’ Creed—an ancient confession of faith rooted in the 2nd and 3rd centuries. These words have helped generations of Christians say who they are and what they trust.
Whether you memorized the creed long ago in Confirmation, are returning to church after time away, or are brand new to faith and wondering what this whole “Christian” thing is about—this series is for you.
It’s also a great time to invite a friend or neighbor who’s curious about what Christians believe. No pressure, no pretense—just space to ask questions, grow in understanding, and encounter the God who meets us in every season of life.
Together, we’ll explore the creed not just with our minds, but with our hearts and lives, as we come to know more fully the Triune God we confess.
Bonus- Join Pastor Erin on Wednesdays, starting September 10th, in the Oro Valley Sanctuary from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, for a class on the Apostle’s Creed where we will take a deep dive into the history as well as how these ancient words still matter in our modern lives. Additional information as it become available can be found here on the RLC study page.
