Children’s Ministry

Children's Ministry at RLC

At Resurrection Lutheran we believe it is vital to provide programs for children ages 3 years – 11 years (preschool – elementary) that create a nurturing community for households to grow in faith, providing opportunities for conversation and formation not only for the child but also for the entire household. By providing early childhood faith formation opportunities with our families, we can help children on their journey to form a loving and personal relationship with Jesus and build a strong foundation for lifelong discipleship.

Sunday School

Here at Resurrection we offer a Christ Centered Sunday School program using Group Publishing’s curriculum Simply Loved. This program content is relational, experiential, applicable and learner based. This program occurs during our 10:45 AM worship service. The children are escorted to the Child Development Center (CDC) at the beginning of worship. Once there, they are grouped into the following classes:

3 year olds – 2nd Grade

3rd - 5th Grade

Class ends at approximately 11:45 AM. Come and join us while we discover just how much we are loved by Jesus!!!

Why Teach Sunday School?
Teaching Sunday School is a rewarding experience that allows you to make a lasting impact on the lives of children. By volunteering as a teacher, you have the opportunity to sow seeds of faith, love, and kindness in the hearts of the next generation. Your dedication and commitment can help shape young minds and instill valuable lessons that will stay with them for a lifetime.

Join Our Team
If you feel called to serve as a Sunday School teacher, we invite you to join our team. No prior teaching experience is necessary, only a willingness to share your love for God and His teachings with children. Whether you are a seasoned educator or new to teaching, your enthusiasm and dedication are what truly matter in guiding young hearts towards Christ.
