Feed My Starving Children 2026

The upcoming Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack is an opportunity for the Resurrection Lutheran Church family to once again make a difference by packing specially formulated meals for malnourished children worldwide. Last year the meals that we helped pack went to Guatemala, Thailand, Philippines and the Dominion Republic. The need is great and continues to rise each year. The Mobile Pack process is simple, it’s fun and only takes two hours of your time.

This year the event will take place at the Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene as it has in the past. The goal is to pack 1.5 million meals during the weeklong event. Our date is February 7th from 8:00 a.m. to 10 a.m., session #18. Please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes early for sign-in and a brief orientation meeting. RLC has been allotted 250 slots.

Due to the scope of the Mobile Pack the organizers ask that we register as many members as possible by January 12th. This will be of great help as they plan for the event. After that date if we haven’t filled all of our slots, registration will be opened to other volunteers.

Monetary donations are greatly needed. Considering the cost of the food, transportation and distribution, each meal costs an average of 30 cents.

$106 feeds a child for an entire year.

More than 90 cents of each dollar goes directly to feeding the children.

More than 99 percent of FMSC meals safely reach their destination.

FMSC consistently receives the highest rating for accountability and transparency from Charity Navigator.

Two ways to sign up. Use the link or the QR code shown below. Once opened, scroll down to Session #18.

Each volunteer packs an average of enough food to feed a starving child for six months. You do make a difference! Please sign up early and bring your family (ages 5 and over) and friends.
