World Vision Global 6k Walk for Water

We invite you to join us once again for our 6K Walk for Water on April 25, 2026. Together, we will walk to raise funds to build wells that provide clean, life-changing water for communities around the world.

For many women and children, walking 6 kilometers for water is part of daily life. The journey is often long and dangerous, and the water they collect is frequently contaminated, causing illness. But when a community gains access to a clean water, everything changes. Children can attend school. Women can stay closer to home to care for their families, tend crops, and manage livestock. Clean water brings health, safety, and opportunity.

The walk begins at 7:00 AM in the Memorial Plaza. If 6K feels like too much, there is also have a shorter one-mile route available. And if you happen to be traveling that weekend, you can still participate by walking wherever you are and sending us a photo!

If you’re unable to walk, you can still make a difference by sponsoring a participant, making a donation, volunteering on the day of the event, or praying for the communities we are supporting.
