Pastor Carol George

Rev. Carol George serves as Associate Pastor for Senior Ministry and as primary pastor for the Resurrection SaddleBrooke congregation.  Before accepting the call to Resurrection in April 2024 she served congregations in Oregon and Alaska during her twenty-six years of ordained ministry.

Pastor Carol has a passion for music, especially with children.  She also loves teaching and counseling in the areas of personal growth and spiritual development in all stages of life and in the church’s role in end-of-life decisions.  For the past ten years she has conducted A Christian Perspective on Death and Dying seminars in her congregations.  These seminars cover theological, practical, and emotional topics that individuals and families face.  She also facilitates a seminar on Thriving in the Third Thirty. She also is a training facilitator for Prepare-Enrich marriage preparation and enrichment materials.

Rev. George holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a specialization in Family Studies from Western Baptist College and a Master of Divinity from George Fox University and is currently studying in the Older Adult Ministry certification program through Columbia Theological Seminary.  

Pastor Carol and her husband, David, have four “exceptional” children, ten “amazing” grandchildren and two “extremely spoiled” Bichons name Zeus and Zoe.
