Pastor Tim Nybroten

Pastor Tim Nybroten has served at Resurrection Lutheran Church since May 2017. Ministry has always been woven into his life. His dad was a pastor. His mom was a reading specialist. Tim grew up surrounded by faith, books, and a vibrant church community. He graduated from Luther College in Decorah, IA, and Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN, and has served congregations in both Wisconsin and Arizona, from mission development to multi-campus ministry.

Tim and his wife, Chandra, have been married for more than 30 years, and they have two wonderful adult children, Hannah and Joshua. Outside of church, he is most often found on the golf course, enjoying the Arizona sunshine, or cheering very enthusiastically for the Packers and Badgers.

His favorite Scripture is Romans 8:31-39. It is a passage he turns to often, and one that anchors his ministry with the unshakable promise that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

If you see him around, feel free to say hello. He is always up for good conversation, a good laugh, and a hopeful Packers prediction.
